The hotel is a little jewel. Not perfect but close. Decidedly smaller than the big fancy palace hotels. Prices are similar. The room itself was very nice - bathroom was superb. Toilet may have changed my life. One difference vs crillon, plaza A etc. fewer tourists around the hotel - few if any in smaller lobby. Liked that in these Covid days. Armed guards at corners ( President Macron lives close by) - felt very safe.. Our only real complaint is it was impossible to turn up the brightness of the lamps in the room. Normally, I suppose one would expect more natural light from the windows but it was overcast. A little hard to see even with the lights on - this seems purposeful. I’d change it so guests have the option. Service was snappy, everyone knew our name. Bar is super nice little spot. My wife used the workout facilities every am. Against Tall odds our concierge totally delivered scoring us a very difficult to get 2star dinner on the day of for our 20th anniversary. Hotel car ( S class) was a nice touch. I’d forgotten to arrange something for dinner on our last night - so happy we didn’t settle.

Property is beautiful, detailed, takes you back to another era of Parisian luxury. Rooms are large and spacious, and covered with every detail you can imagine. The bathrooms are covered with marble, spacious, and will surpass your expectations - I know, it’s a bathroom, but it’s fantastic - heated floors, Japanese toilets, rain shower with great water pressure, an awesome stand alone soaker tub. The staff is impeccable, friendly, and always wanting to provide sunshine to your day.
